Conference theme:
Sense and sustainability: From goals to action in Week 17. Libraries as partners for a sustainable future
Starting on 20 April 2026 with the EBLIDA Council and Executive Committee meetings, we will gather to reflect, exchange, and work together on how libraries contribute to social, environmental, cultural, and democratic sustainability across Europe.
Hosted in collaboration with the Association of Libraries of the Czech Republic, the conference will take place across some of Prague’s most emblematic library venues, including the National Library of the Czech Republic and the Municipal Library of Prague.
The programme is currently being finalised and will combine:
EBLIDA statutory meetings and association exchanges
A dedicated Conference Day on Tuesday, 21 April, featuring a keynote, a panel on sustainability and the SDGs, 5 workshops, lightning talks, space for discussion, optional library visits, and informal networking opportunities.
