33rd EBLIDA Council and Conference

The theme for next year’s conference is “Power and resilience: books and reading in the age of AI.”

We are excited to announce that the 33rd EBLIDA Council and Conference will be held in Riga, Latvia, from 7-9 April 2025.

Our gracious hosts, the National Library of Latvia, will also celebrate a momentous occasion: the 500th anniversary of the first printed book in Latvia.

This milestone, along with our conference theme, offers plenty of reasons to join us in Riga for an event filled with insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and celebrations.
