Next Library

Next Library is an international community of forward-thinking library professionals, innovators and decision-makers who are pushing boundaries and making changes that support learning in the 22nd century.

Created by Aarhus Public Libraries in 2009, the purpose of a Next Library event is to look ahead and explore the continuously evolving nature of the public library.

In 2023 Next Library will be back in Aarhus: May 14-16. We invite you all to be part of the co-creation of the event – and to explore how we can also add some kind of digital layer to the event so that more people can participate. We want to learn from all the experiments that have taken place during the pandemic. And we want to reinvent the way we meet in a physical conference.
