Nasjonalbiblioteket,<\/a> p\u00e5 vegne av IIPC<\/p>\n\n\n\nInternational Internet Preservation Consortium (IIPC) har eksistert siden 2003, med Nasjonalbiblioteket som \u00e9n av 12 grunnleggere. I dag er IIPC et globalt nettverk med hundretalls av eksperter som arbeider med innsamling, bevaring og tilgjengeliggj\u00f8ring av innhold fra internett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nasjonalbiblioteket (NB) er valgt som arrang\u00f8r med et \u00f8nske om \u00e5 knytte v\u00e5re erfaringer med spr\u00e5kteknologi, digital humaniora og maskinl\u00e6ring tettere til fagmilj\u00f8et som jobber med bevaring av nettressurser. Temaet for konferansen er \u00abTowards Best Practices in Web Archiving\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Som vertskap vil NB ha mulighet til \u00e5 dele v\u00e5re erfaringer med resten av det internasjonale milj\u00f8et. Samtidig er det en mulighet til \u00e5 l\u00e6re og oppdatere institusjonens egen kompetanse p\u00e5 h\u00e5ndtering av det som mange fortsatt ser p\u00e5 som en ny materialtype: Nettmedier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Blant IIPCs medlemmer finner man nasjonalbibliotek over hele verden, Internet Archive, amerikanske universitetetsbibliotek, og flere institusjoner som likner p\u00e5 det norske Arkivverket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
