Han har tidligere jobbet som strategisk r\u00e5dgiver i Stiftelsen Tinius og har en mastergrad i nye medier og digital kultur fra Universitetet i Amsterdam. Grut er i dag stipendiat ved prosjektet Photofake ved Universitetet i Oslo og har v\u00e6rt gjesteforeleser ved OsloMet, NTNU, Universitetet i Stavanger, H\u00f8gskulen i Volda og H\u00f8yskolen Kristiania. I 2021 utkom boken hans&nbsp;<em>Digital kildekritikk<\/em>. Gjennom dagen f\u00e5r vi presentert ulike prosjekter som alle ser p\u00e5 hvordan bibliotekene kan v\u00e6re til hjelp i \u00e5 navigere i informasjonsstr\u00f8mmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haakon Nyhuus ble f\u00f8dt 28. november 1866. I anledning \u00e5rsdagen inviterer Nasjonalbiblioteket til det tradisjonelle seminaret for \u00e5 feire ham og de nyvinningene han sto for.
